You will develop the 0-24-month IBP forecast by brand and at the stock keeping unit (SKU) level. You will coordinate, challenge and influence building block with input from sales, marketing and other partners. In addition, you will review the disaggregated short-term demand plan, which includes SKU/location mix and weekly pacing. Finally, you will provide the finalized detailed demand plan by SKU to supply planners and adjust it based on feedback from supply planners or commercial teams.
How you will contribute
You will:
Contribute to the demand management cycle of the integrated business planning (IBP) process for your categories and to strategy and structure discussionsLiaise with the commercial and operational teams and develop ways to continuously improve communication between the functions to support the delivery of the business KPIs for their familiesManage forecast compilation process, which includes owning the short-term weekly plan and the long-term forecast (three or more months)Interact with modelling team to generate statistical forecastingParticipate in the integrated business planning process and manage the demand planning toolPerform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error and bias, and share output with appropriate leadershipWhat you will bring

Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods environment, preferably in food or other fast moving, dynamic industry where shelf life is a constraintExperience with in an IBP/S&OP environmentAble to influence cross-functional teams, working on priorities and improving the planExcellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills – and able to understand and interpret dataStrong verbal and written communication skillsTeam player who can work with many other functions on a daily basisMore about this role
What You’ll Do
Lead the demand management agenda for the category, being the key interface between commercial and supply to identify and evaluate the impact of potential availability issues/commercial changes including gap assessment and risk and opportunity discussions to develop a long-term consensus forecastPartner with modelling team for the generation of statistical forecastingReview standard consumption versus forecast at the category and total product levels, liaising with supply and commercial teams to manage potential availability issues and the impact of under consumptionDrive strong linkages with the commercial, category collaboration, modelling, order fulfilment teams and supply planning including innovation and equityManage demand planning tasks for product life cycle eventsDrive continuous capability building in the demand planning team for planning improvementWhat You’ll Bring

Post-secondary education (University degree required)3-6 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting within the CPG or similar industryAdvanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel (pivot tables, modeling) and experience with ERP and APS (SAP APO and/or o9) systemsComprehensive supply chain, economic, financial or logistics experience and commercial awareness in a fast-moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods environmentOpen to learn new ways of working and is willing to use new toolsExperience driving demand review and participation in an IBP cycleAble to influence cross-functional teams, working on the key priorities and improving the planKnowledge in leading practice demand planning and end-to-end supply chain conceptsExcellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skillsAPICS/ACSM certification is an assetNo Relocation support available
