Position: Business Analyst - 12 month contract - Hybrid

BUSINESS ANALYST – (12 month contract)



Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst who is curious and enjoys problem solving. The ideal candidate will have experience in the professional services industry. This role requires excellent analytical skills, ability to provide clear and concise explanation, good coordination skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Due to our Client’s global operations, some flexibility in work hours will be required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct detailed business analysis to understand and document current state, business requirements, processes, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements, validate solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain simple timelines, RAID logs and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project scope, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and clients.
  • Provide support and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies
  • Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree with 5 years of directly related experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, One Drive, PowerPoint, Visio, and Smartsheet.
  • Related certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Project Management Professional (PMP) or other process improvement certifications is a plus.
