Sr. Manager, Direct Procurement, TH, US&C (Fixed Term - 12 months)

Reporting to the VP, Procurement for Tim Hortons, this role will lead procurement for key food and paper categories supporting Tim Hortons North America stores. Responsibilities include industry benchmarking, financial modelling, strategic negotiations, sourcing strategy execution, and collaboration with Marketing, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Finance teams.

• Develop and execute procurement strategy aligned with business strategy for assigned categories, including sourcing and contingency planning.
• Research, analyze, and interpret industry and market trends.
• Negotiate and execute business tenders.
• Create competitive benchmarks and financial models to assess offers and determine viability and profitability.
• Assess business risks associated with procurement and ensure transparency to the organization.
• Source, onboard, and nurture new vendors; manage termination when applicable.
• Measure supplier performance, identify improvement initiatives, and support corrective actions.
• Assess commodity hedging strategies and execute hedges to stabilize supply and improve profitability.
• Drive purchase cost‑saving initiatives that consistently improve restaurant profitability.
• Serve as point of contact with select vendors to resolve issue impacting restaurant owners.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering (preferred).
• MBA with specialty in Supply Chain or Finance, or CPA/CFA designation (preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement in North American Fast Food restaurants or Food & Beverage Manufacturing.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in developing financial models to analyze deals and offers.
• Excellent analytical abilities and data interpretation skills.
• Superior organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
• Category‑specific purchasing experience (preferred).
• Experience in QSR, food processing, retail, or CPG (preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Base salary range: $ – $ (varies by experience, education, location, and skills). The position is eligible for the Company’s annual discretionary bonus plan and may qualify for equity grants under the long‑term incentive plan.
