Lead digital product strategy and SAFe delivery as Manulife’s Director & Chief Product Owner in a hybrid Waterloo, Ontario workplace. Shape customer-focused solutions.
This senior product leader oversees a digital product portfolio value stream within Manulife. The work connects business and technology teams through product vision, roadmaps, backlog ownership, and stakeholder alignment. You will guide large-scale initiatives, support measurable outcomes, and mentor Product Owners across multiple agile squads.
Key Responsibilities:- Define digital product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Own backlog prioritization across multiple agile squads
- Use analytics, A/B testing, and experimentation
- Coordinate solution design, development, QA, and testing
- Mentor Product Owners through continuous improvement
- Eight to ten years leading cross-functional SAFe or Scrum initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline
- Five years’ industry experience with insurance and wealth products
- Digital strategy and transformation experience in financial services
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, release management, and agile methods
