Lead CIBC Capital Markets business management in Toronto, applying strategic planning and governance expertise across trading, financing, and resource management.
As Executive Director, you will support FICC, GMF, and FRM leadership across Global Markets. You will coordinate business strategies, cross-functional initiatives, operational priorities, regulatory requirements, and financial objectives. The mandate combines executive reporting, stakeholder management, risk controls, and resource optimization.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with leadership on strategies, growth priorities, and annual plans
- Lead initiatives, roadmaps, dashboards, and management reporting
- Oversee governance documentation, risk assessments, incidents, and access controls
- Support forecasting, expenses, funding, capital, liquidity, and resource decisions
- Coordinate partners and responses across business and control functions
- Minimum five years in Global Markets or Capital Markets
- Financial Services industry experience
- University degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Management
- Strong analytical, judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Share Point
