Analyze international payments at Scotiabank in Toronto, applying SWIFT expertise and business analysis to support customer-focused modernization initiatives.
This Business Analyst role focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle of international payments. You will gather requirements, document processes, and translate complex needs into functional requirements and user stories. Collaboration spans business stakeholders, technology teams, banks, fintech partners, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead requirements analysis, documentation, and validation
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories
- Facilitate cross-functional requirements workshops and working sessions
- Optimize payment processes against regulatory requirements
- Perform gap analysis and release readiness reviews
- Manage SWIFT payment flows using MT and MX formats
- Experience with ISO 20022 standards
- Understand payment processing and reconciliation life cycles
- Demonstrate business process mapping and system analysis expertise
- Use Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office proficiently
