Job Overview
DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Warehouse & Transportation (W&T) Analyst (Canada) located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The analyst supports the Deliver pillar of the Supply Chain organization by providing analytical, operational, and coordination support across warehousing and transportation activities, ensuring products are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Support day‑to‑day warehouse and transportation operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, and distribution activities.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics (e.g., service levels, delivery performance, inventory movements) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with coordination between third‑party logistics providers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery or service issues.
- Prepare routine reports and dashboards to support supply chain decision‑making and performance reviews.
- Document processes, identify gaps, and contribute to corrective actions to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects related to logistics optimization, cost control, and service enhancement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field). Advanced degree or professional coursework in supply chain or operations is preferred.
- Experience: 0‑2 years of relevant work experience; foundational knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or distribution processes.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business systems; strong attention to detail and procedural compliance; effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Preferred: Experience supporting warehouse, transportation, or distribution operations; familiarity with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems; exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies; experience working with third‑party logistics providers.
- Language:
English required;
French proficiency is an asset for Canada. - Travel:
Limited domestic travel (up to ~10%). - Certifications:
Supply chain or logistics certifications (e.g., APICS/ASCM) are preferred but not required.
