Position: Safety Trainer for Metrolinx Projects
Drive safety training initiatives with ONxpress in the GO Expansion program. This role focuses on enhancing training methods and documentation for construction staff while promoting a culture of safety.

ONxpress is seeking a Safety Trainer to support training development across its civil and track works. With a post-secondary education in Health & Safety and over five years of construction experience, you will collaborate with various teams. Your expertise in Health and Safety regulations and strong communication skills will enhance the effectiveness of training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote culture of safety and team participation

• Collaborate with staff to assess and deliver training

• Develop training materials including lesson plans

• Identify gaps in HSS and Human Performance training

• Utilize metrics to enhance continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in relevant fields

• 5+ years of construction experience required

• Health and Safety certifications preferred

• Knowledge of applicable safety legislation

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
