This is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, for a Civil Supervisor. The Civil Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site management activities, ensuring that construction work is executed effectively, safely, and in compliance with quality standards.

The Civil Supervisor supervises and coordinates civil and facility maintenance crews during overnight operations. The role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

• Strong Supervisory and Site Supervision skills to manage work teams and ensure proper task execution.
• Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with teams, contractors, and stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and project management practices in construction settings.
• Technical knowledge of civil engineering and facilities management.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure or transit-related projects is an asset.
• Diploma or trade certification in civil construction or related field preferred Diploma or trade certification in civil construction or related field or equivalent experience managing construction or maintenance crews.
• 5-10 years of construction or facilities maintenance in transit systems experience.
• Prior supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and construction practices.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate field activities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work overnight and rotating shifts.

• Supervise and lead night shift crews.
• Assign tasks and monitor quality and productivity.
• Oversee waterproofing, structural repairs, drainage, and related civil works.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce safe work practices.
• Respond to emergency calls and operational issues during shift.
• Inspect completed work and ensure it meets specifications.
• Prepare shift reports and communicate updates to management.
