As part of HDR’s Transportation – Construction and Field Services team, the Senior Construction Inspector leads projects that demand high communication and technical skills. The role focuses on supervising and inspecting major roadway and bridge constructions, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with environmental regulations. Experience mentoring junior staff will be beneficial in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for complex bridge and roadway projects

• Document daily activities and maintain contract records

• Conduct site surveys and monitor compliance with specifications

• Ensure contractor adherence to safety requirements

• Communicate site concerns to project management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years construction inspection experience

• OACETT Road Construction Senior Inspector certification

• Excellent MS Office proficiency

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively

• Valid Ontario driver's license required
