Stantec is seeking a Construction Inspector focusing on water infrastructure projects in Ontario. This position will enhance your consulting and inspection capabilities in a dynamic environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the execution and quality of various water-related construction projects. Key duties involve overseeing compliance with building codes, coordinating with contractors, and leading safety initiatives.

Your role is critical in delivering projects that serve communities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and ensure compliance during construction

• Provide on-site support and guidance to contractors

• Track project progress against timelines and budgets

• Lead site safety practices per safety policies

• Prepare and manage project documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Technical background in construction or engineering

• At least 5 years of industry experience required

• Strong understanding of construction practices

• Excellent skills in communication and documentation

• Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license
