Step into a pivotal role with Aecon Utilities as a Co-op Estimator. This position involves delivering accurate cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for various projects over a flexible term.

At Aecon Utilities, the Co-op Estimator will report to the Estimating Manager and support estimating functions for multiple projects. This highly technical role requires a focus on analyzing documents, preparing bids, and ensuring documentation is correctly distributed. Collaborate with teams to create detailed estimates incorporating labor, material, and equipment costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze documents and specifications for pricing preparation

• Assist with RFP and General Contract submissions

• Prepare quantity take-offs from construction drawings

• Research pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

• Attend site visits for estimate enhancements

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Civil, Construction, or Business program

• Understanding of construction drawings and contract documents

• Knowledge of job cost fundamentals

• Strong MS Excel and estimating software skills

• Excellent communication abilities
