Position: Construction Safety Compliance Officer at Metrolinx

This in-office role is centered at Metrolinx's 10 Bay Street and focuses on supporting municipal construction safety. You will lead safety audits, oversee compliance, and work closely with project delivery teams to implement effective safety practices. Your leadership will significantly impact the safety culture and project outcomes throughout the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct construction management activities for compliance

• Analyze safety submittals and work plans by contractors

• Coordinate safety measures within the Integrated Project Team

• Review significant safety compliance issues with contractors

• Provide technical direction to safety personnel

Requirements:

• Degree in Safety, Engineering, or a similar discipline

• Progressive experience in construction safety and supervision

• Certifications such as CRSP or CSP are assets

• Must obtain qualifications in CROR

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
