Govan Brown is seeking a qualified Estimator with at least 5 years of experience in commercial interiors. This role involves overseeing the estimating process, including value engineering and cost analysis to produce accurate bids. You will collaborate closely with project management for budget determination and strategic evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all estimating and Pre-Construction activities

• Determine budgeting strategies for project opportunities

• Identify and solicit competitive pricing from subcontractors

• Perform comprehensive quantity takeoffs from drawings

• Review plans for potential constructability issues

Requirements:

• 5+ years in commercial construction estimating

• Degree in Construction, Engineering or Architecture

• Strong local subcontractor relationships

• Understanding of lump sum and design build contracts

• Skilled in specialized estimating software
