Position: Estimator Role Construction
Avangart Inc. is seeking a detailed Estimator for its Toronto location. This on-site position involves preparing cost estimates for construction projects emphasizing façade engineering and custom detailing.

As an Estimator at Avangart Inc., you will analyze project drawings and specifications, ensuring all estimates reflect realistic materials and labor costs. You will engage with project teams to clarify project scopes and manage changes effectively.

Your role is crucial in creating accurate bids and budgets that meet industry standards while adhering to Ontario Building Codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review construction drawings and specifications

• Conduct quantity take-offs for projects effectively

• Solicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers

• Produce detailed budgets and competitive bids

• Support project planning with historical cost data analysis

Requirements:

• Expertise in estimating façade systems and custom millwork

• Skills in construction software, specifically Bluebeam or Plan Swift

• Proficient in MS Excel for cost calculation

• Strong understanding of building codes in Ontario

• Previous on-site estimator experience is an asset
