Hitachi Rail is looking for a proactive Senior Construction Manager to lead the Ontario Line Project. This pivotal full-time role demands extensive management of project construction and coordination of installation teams. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery according to set benchmarks for cost, quality, and timelines, while fostering stakeholder relationships throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage operation teams for construction projects
• Coordinate installation activities with various stakeholders
• Drive compliance with project design and quality plans
• Report project status, risks, and opportunities regularly
• Lead recovery actions as necessary to meet deadlines
Requirements:
• 10-15 years in relevant rail construction experience
• Proficient in MS Office and construction management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Preferred:
Professional Engineer (P. Eng) registration
