Position: Bantrel Construction Safety Officer Role
Take on a pivotal Construction Safety Officer role at Bantrel Infrastructure, based in Toronto, ON, dedicated to ensuring safety on the Ontario Line subway project. Your expertise will drive compliance and risk mitigation strategies.

This full-time position requires a qualified candidate to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure adherence to Ontario safety legislation. You’ll work closely with the Integrated Project Team to develop and implement safe work procedures that protect workers and the public. This role is ideal for those with extensive knowledge of construction safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teams in developing Safe Work Procedures

• Perform formal inspections for safety compliance

• Monitor on-site work for contractor compliance

• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders

• Assist in investigations and safety action follow-ups

Requirements:

• 5-7 years' experience in construction safety roles

• Familiarity with railway safety and civil projects

• In-depth knowledge of Ontario OHSA Act

• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

• Excellent relationship-building skills
