This full-time, permanent role requires a minimum of five years’ hands-on experience in construction. You'll negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Your technical leadership will be crucial for project success and community enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and plan for small to large scale construction
• Schedule and monitor subcontractor activities for timely completion
• Liaise with external partners for project scope definitions
• Conduct site inspections and manage project compliance
• Prepare reports and handle financial evaluations promptly
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or certification
• Proven experience of 5+ years in construction projects
• Understanding of Ontario Building Code and other regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must possess a valid G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
