We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from design through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Position Summary As a Project Manager at Steelcon, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling, resourcing, and performance of the projects assigned to you. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, from design review through to final completion, ensuring that all client requirements and project standards are met.

Key Responsibilities Project Management Manage the scheduling, resourcing, and overall execution of assigned projects
Provide technical expertise and administrative support across multiple projects or major project scopes
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to contract requirements
Design Documentation Review Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to review design documentation for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
Identify and resolve design issues with consultants and project teams throughout various project stages
Client & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Ensure clear communication, alignment, and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle
Team Coordination Collaborate with engineering, detailing, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
Facilitate meetings, monitor progress, and address issues proactively
Policy & Compliance Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, safety standards, and company procedures
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and quality across all project activities
Risk Management Identify project risks, schedule impacts, and cost concerns early
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery
Working knowledge of construction laws, contracts, and building codes
Ability to apply regulatory and contractual requirements effectively
Continuous Improvement Contribute to the ongoing improvement of project management systems, workflows, and best practices
Support operational efficiencies and lessons learned initiatives
Qualifications Postsecondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
PMP (Project Management Professional) designation is considered an asset
3–5 years of experience in construction or project management
Experience with in structural steel, fabrication, or industrial construction is considered an asset
Construction methods and procedures
Project delivery models
Construction sequencing and scheduling
Building materials and specifications
Safety and quality management practices
