Position: Co-op Estimator Role at ONxpress

Take part in the ONxpress Construction Joint Venture's ambitious GO Expansion project in this 8-12 month co-op position. Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, you will support the estimating team by preparing bills of quantities and learning to utilize IDD software effectively for generating quantities. Enhance your skills by researching procurement processes and understanding the overall design workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze construction drawings and understand submission requirements

• Prepare bills of quantities and conduct necessary take-offs

• Support procurement efforts through pricing quotations

• Maintain organized paperwork and historical data analysis

• Contribute to numerous estimating submissions and reports

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a university or technical college program

• Insight into estimating processes is a plus

• Effective communication and relationship management skills

• Basic understanding of construction principles

• Experience with relevant Microsoft and design software
