Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager, Contracts Manager
We are looking for a Superintendent to oversee project delivery and yard operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

You will play a key role in building and enhancing infrastructure across Canada, the U.S., and internationally, delivering complex civil projects such as tunnels, transit expansions, airports, ports, highways, and large‑scale site development.
What You’ll Do Here- Lead the overall planning and scheduling of projects to ensure timely delivery, alignment with contractual requirements, and budget control.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and delays.
- Coordinate and oversee all project functions, including administration, scheduling, and construction execution.
- Serve as the primary on‑site representative for the company, maintaining effective relationships with owners and key stakeholders.
- Ensure owners are informed of all extra work, change events, and claims, and that subcontractors are notified of applicable back charges.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date contract documentation, including change orders and amendments.
- Implement, enforce, and monitor compliance with the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Control programs.
- Ensure all site activities comply with applicable legislation, regulations, and municipal requirements.
- Provide strong leadership to project staff by directing daily activities, maintaining discipline, and fostering a positive team environment.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and project‑specific requirements.
- Ensure compliance with union agreements, where applicable.
- Review and approve project cost reports, ensuring job cost forecasts and projected margins are accurate and current.
- Support the bid and estimating process, providing constructability input and operational insight.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- 10+ years of construction experience with a technical school background.
- Experience in the utility contracting industry.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction techniques, practices, and fundamentals.
- Experience with contract and subcontract management.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Valid Ontario (G) driver’s license.
- Ability to travel within Ontario as required.
$120,000 – $180,000, depending on location, education, experience, and role complexity.
