Position: Construction Project Manager Wanted
Join the City of Toronto as a Project Manager CS, leading essential construction and infrastructure projects within the Corporate Real Estate Management division. This temporary full-time role integrates project management, budgeting, stakeholder management, and compliance oversight.

Ideal for experienced project managers, this role reports to the Manager of Major Capital Construction Projects and involves navigating complex projects across affordable housing and urban development. Your ability to oversee project plans, manage teams, and maintain quality standards will be crucial. A commitment to stakeholder engagement and solid local travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective project plans

• Supervise contractors and project teams

• Visit construction sites weekly for compliance checks

• Ensure project documentation is organized and accurate

• Facilitate communication among all project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education relevant to construction management

• Strong background in large-scale project leadership

• Experience in budget management and reporting

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Possession of a valid Ontario driver’s license
