Join SKYGRiD as an Assistant Superintendent and oversee high-rise construction in the Greater Toronto Area. Drive project success through coordination, compliance, and quality control.
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will work closely with the Project Superintendent regarding high-rise building projects.
Your role includes supporting subcontractors, enforcing compliance to budgets, and upholding high safety standards. Effectively manage the day-to-day construction operations while ensuring top-notch documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support administrative tasks and technical project direction
• Monitor compliance with construction designs
• Attend and represent the project in all necessary meetings
• Supervise site engineering and construction activities
• Track subcontractor performance and procurement logs
Requirements:
• University Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent
• At least 5 years high-rise construction experience
• Proven leadership capabilities and problem foresight
• Extensive knowledge of cost control and quality assurance
• Skills in communication with city officials for compliance
