Position: Estimator Co-op for Construction Projects
Join Aecon Utilities as a Co-op Estimator and contribute to becoming Canada’s leading utility construction provider. Your key role will be preparing precise estimates for various projects over an 8, 12, or 16-month term.

This Co-op opportunity allows you to work under the guidance of the Estimating Manager, focusing on cost estimates, budgets, and timelines. You'll analyze specifications and support RFP submissions while collaborating with teams to produce detailed project estimates. By gathering relevant pricing data and attending site visits, you'll sharpen your technical skills and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze proposals and addendums for pricing accuracy

• Aid team with bid submissions and document distribution

• Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings

• Coordinate research for supplier pricing

• Maintain documentation for active projects

Requirements:

• Enrolled in relevant Civil or Business programs

• Familiarity with construction and contract documentation

• Strong computer skills in MS Office

• Self-motivated with organizational skills

• Valid driver’s license for site visits
