Position: Field-Based Construction Inspector GTA
Join a public sector client as a Field-Based Construction Inspector in the Greater Toronto Area. This full-time contract position involves oversight of capital construction projects at various transit facilities.

As a Construction Inspector, you will have a field-oriented role focused on inspecting multiple sites daily throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Key responsibilities include conducting compliance inspections, maintaining accurate project documentation, and liaising with contractors and project teams to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with contract specifications

• Monitor contractor activities at multiple active sites

• Maintain field records and daily inspection reports

• Identify deficiencies and track corrective actions

• Review design documents to assess risks and constructability

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a related field

• Minimum 5 years experience in construction inspection

• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings

• Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and personal vehicle
