Position: Toronto Safety Officer for Underground Project
Become a key player in Bantrel's Ontario Line Subway project as a Construction Safety Officer in Toronto. Focus on safety compliance and risk mitigation in a complex construction environment.

This full-time role at Bantrel requires extensive experience in construction safety within heavy civil or transport projects. You'll ensure that safety procedures are adhered to during construction and perform audits to maintain compliance with all relevant legislation. Your proactive approach will help to identify hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support development and implementation of safety procedures

• Conduct inspections to ensure regulatory compliance

• Oversee contractor activities and safety assessment

• Engage in site safety protection strategies

• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5–7+ years of on-site safety experience

• Strong knowledge of Ontario OHSA regulations

• Proficient in MS Office applications
