WSP is hiring an Electrical Inspector focused on utility projects in the Toronto region. Ensure compliance and quality standards while contributing to community safety.
As an Electrical Inspector with WSP, you will oversee the installation and maintenance of crucial utility infrastructure. This role requires a keen eye for detail and compliance knowledge to verify that all construction meets specified guidelines and safety measures. You will conduct daily inspections, assess contractor performance, and provide documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review construction plans before work commences
• Conduct daily site inspections and risk assessments
• Audit safe work practices and report violations
• Prepare detailed progress logs and verification reports
• Finalize project documentation upon completion
Requirements:
• Engineering designation or Electrical Technician preferred
• Experience in utility and infrastructure sectors
• Knowledge of electrical safety regulations
• Valid Ontario driver's license required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
