This position entails leading detailed cost estimations for major infrastructure projects, overseeing quantity take-offs, and managing pricing strategies to ensure project viability. You will collaborate closely with design, construction, and commercial teams to develop estimates that align with project goals. Your ability to identify risks and opportunities will enhance project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive comprehensive cost estimate preparation for projects
• Ensure accuracy in quantity take-offs and project scope
• Lead subcontractor pricing strategies and evaluations
• Develop risk management strategies within estimates
• Support submission preparation for client proposals
Requirements:
• Degree in a relevant field like Construction Management
• 8–12+ years of estimating experience preferred
• Experience with rail/transit projects is a plus
• Strong leadership in multi-disciplinary environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
