Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager to join our construction management team. This role involves supporting project planning, execution, and oversight to ensure successful completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a robust foundation in construction processes, quality control, and project coordination, with a focus on maintaining high standards and efficient workflows. Duties- Assist in developing and reviewing construction estimates to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, and resources to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Perform construction inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues early.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
- Support project documentation, including reports, change orders, and progress updates.
- Participate in site meetings, safety reviews, and client consultations as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and quality control procedures during construction activities.
- Robust knowledge of construction estimating, project management, and quality inspection processes.
- Experience in construction inspection and quality control measures.
- Electrical experience is a plus, providing additional insight into technical aspects of projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- A proactive approach with problem-solving skills to address challenges promptly.
