Get hands-on experience with Aecon as a Co-op Assistant Coordinator, focusing on design projects in Toronto, Ontario. Work on essential calculations and enhance project coordination skills.
This 8-month Co-op position aims to assist Aecon's design team on significant civil projects. Ideal candidates are studying Civil Engineering or Construction Management and have construction industry experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing schedules, assisting in design tasks, and maintaining project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support design calculations and drawing completions
• Help prepare construction packages and schedules
• Maintain accurate project files and correspondence
• Assist in submitting as-built drawings
• Collect field information for project bill of materials
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or Construction Management program
• Construction industry experience as an asset
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• AutoCAD proficiency is preferred
