MEP Estimating Specialist - Turner Construction

Turner Construction Company invites you to apply for the MEP Estimating Specialist role in Toronto, Ontario. You will leverage your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology estimating skills to influence the outcome of projects.

In this experienced position, you’ll prepare estimates based on design documents, attend essential project meetings, and build strategic relationships with key subcontractors and suppliers. Your ability to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and your understanding of market conditions will significantly impact project bids and proposals at Turner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual estimates and proposals

• Solicit competitive pricing from subcontractors

• Lead evaluations of subcontractor proposals

• Conduct constructability analyses of project documents

• Assist project staff with change order evaluations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

• 5-7 years in MEP estimating

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of CCA and CCDC contracts
