PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking Estimating Students for its Canadian Buildings Division. This role focuses on quantity surveying, bid document control, and collaboration with lead estimators. Your practical experience will be enhanced through challenging assignments and site visits, fostering vital relationships with subcontractors throughout your tenure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize PCL’s estimating manuals and systems
• Review quantity survey assignments with lead estimator
• Perform assigned quantity surveys for projects
• Coordinate major purchase item quantities for pricing
• Engage in bid document control and assignments
Requirements:
• Strong desire to work in a construction environment
• Prior field construction experience is an asset
• Proficient in various computer software programs
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to draft and organize information
