Position: Estimator for GTA Construction Projects
Join a dynamic team as an Estimator at a large general contractor in the Greater Toronto Area, supporting diverse projects across Ontario. Utilize your cost evaluation skills and project delivery knowledge to drive success.

Our client is expanding their pre-construction group and seeks an experienced Estimator. This role demands a thorough understanding of estimating practices, familiarity with construction-related blueprints, and the ability to resolve cost discrepancies. With 3-5 years of experience, you will collaborate with senior estimators to refine project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze competitive advantages to enhance bids

• Collect and resolve cost discrepancies effectively

• Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems

• Support project proposals with the Chief Estimator

• Attend site locations and meetings as required

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Construction or Engineering

• Strong understanding of estimating practices

• Familiarity with blueprints and plan reading

• 3-5 years of construction estimating experience

• Mechanical or Industrial project experience preferred
