Position: Safety Coordinator Co-op Role at Aecon
Become a valued member of Aecon's EHS team as a Safety Coordinator Co-op. Focus on safety reporting, inspections, and employee meetings, while gaining hands-on experience in construction safety.

This position spans 8, 12, or 16 months and is ideal for those pursuing studies in Occupational Health and Safety. You will help compile incident reports, conduct site inspections, and coordinate necessary safety meetings. Your work will play a crucial role in promoting a safe workplace at Aecon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and submit Accident/Incident reports

• Conduct and support site safety inspections

• Coordinate the distribution of PPE supplies

• Assist in safety reporting and program improvements

• Provide feedback to the Safety Manager on activities

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in Occupational Health and Safety studies

• Construction industry experience preferred

• Valid G licence required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational abilities in high-pressure settings
