  • Lead and promote Pomerleau’s H&S standards, OH&S Acts, Regulations, and Codes with teammates and trade partners.
  • Serve as a key player from day one of project kickoffs—crafting plans, leading meetings, and spotting potential hazards through to project closeouts.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and lead incident investigation processes for your project, sharing insights with the Regional H&S Manager.
  • Build an environment with strong accident‑prevention foresight and be the first responder when an emergency occurs.
  • Share your passion for training, mentoring, and coaching the team on H&S best practices.
  • Compile statistics, identify patterns, and pave the way for proactive improvements.
  • Support the upkeep of Pomerleau’s COR Standards, ensuring all COR elements are met and maintained on job sites.
This Role Could Be For You If You Have

  • An educational background in Occupational H&S, risk management, or direct industry experience.
  • Previous experience or familiarity with Certification of Recognition (COR) and Safety Group (IHSA).
  • People‑management and relationship skills.
  • Proven experience working with computer programs to track and monitor your project’s H&S.
Additional Assets Include

Benefits

  • Hybrid work model for corporate roles.
  • Employee stock ownership program.
  • Career growth through real development opportunities.
