Position: Construction Estimator with CTC
Join Canadian Tire as a Construction Estimator, focusing on cost analysis and construction project estimating.

Your role will support effective bid management and value engineering initiatives.

In this position, you will prepare multi-stage cost estimates to assist Real Estate Committee approvals. You'll analyze historical project data, maintain cost benchmarks, and manage tendering activities including bid analysis and subcontractor coordination. Your strong analytical mindset and experience with construction documentation will drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain construction cost estimates according to standards

• Analyze historical data to identify trends and optimization opportunities

• Support tendering and subcontractor negotiations

• Conduct post-project cost analysis and reporting

• Develop and update cost tracking systems and tools

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in estimating or cost planning

• Advanced Excel skills with data modeling expertise

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field

• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Familiarity with estimating software is a plus
