We are looking for a Co‑op Estimator to help us get there! Reporting to the Lead Estimator or Estimating Manager, the Co‑op Estimator will support with the delivery of accurate and timely cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for assigned projects.
Co‑op Opportunity — this opportunity currently has an opening for a 12‑month work term.
What You'll Do Here- Analyzes documents, specifications, proposals, addendums in preparation for pricing
- Assists with RFP’s and General Contract tender submissions.
- Supports team in preparing quantity take‑offs from construction drawings where applicable.
- Research and/or obtains pricing from Suppliers and Subcontractors that can be incorporated into project estimates.
- Assists with prequalification submissions, RFQ’s and RFI’s as required.
- Aids in estimate creation for bid submission – labour, equipment, material, rentals, and subcontracts.
- Attends site visits in advance of estimate creation
- Ensures the distribution of documentation appropriately upon award.
