Position: Aecon Site Safety Leadership Role
Become a Site Safety Leader at Aecon and ensure the highest safety standards in Toronto, ON. Drive compliance and an inclusive culture in all construction projects.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program. As a Site Safety Lead, you will collaborate with project teams while ensuring all policies and safety measures are followed. Your expertise will help cultivate a positive safety environment for all workers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote safety practices across project sites

• Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly

• Direct training sessions for safety protocols

• Prepare emergency plans and evacuation procedures

• Track safety statistics and report findings

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety

• Minimum 5 years of safety management experience

• NCSO designation or equivalent required

• Deep understanding of the OHSA and WSIB

• Proven ability to communicate safety issues effectively
