Join the GFT team as a Construction Quality Manager, where hybrid work meets site responsibilities in Ontario. Lead the development of a high-functioning QC/QA team.
This pivotal role within GFT's Construction Services Group is perfect for a seasoned professional looking to enhance quality management processes. Reporting directly to the Construction Director, the Construction Quality Manager will be responsible for team management, recruitment, and the oversight of quality assurance practices. You'll work closely with contractors and clients to ensure project integrity and adherence to contract standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Project Quality Management Plan aligned with regulations
• Oversee supplier and subcontractor audits
• Ensure documentation and compliance for quality assurance
• Manage risk-based quality planning initiatives
• Provide detailed reporting and communication to project stakeholders
Requirements:
• Professional Engineer designation in Ontario
• Proven experience with bridges and structures
• 15+ years in construction management
• Exceptional leadership and problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledgeable in construction management tools
