Position: Mid-Day EHS Advisor at Aecon
Join Aecon as a Mid-Day EHS Advisor in North York, ON, where your expertise will facilitate a culture of health and safety across projects. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Reporting to the EHS Manager, the EHS Advisor will play a crucial part in delivering high-value infrastructure by promoting workplace safety and environmental practices. You'll engage in training, workplace audits, and inspections to confirm adherence to policies. Your commitment to continuous improvement will help uphold Aecon's core values of safety and integrity within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health and safety orientations for employees and clients

• Train teams based on the Aecon Health and Safety Manual

• Coordinate safety training programs and audits

• Develop emergency response and traffic management plans

• Support Joint Health and Safety Committees' operations

Requirements:

• 4+ years in a health and safety role within construction

• NCSO or CRSP certifications advantageous

• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations

• Proactive with excellent organizational skills

• Flexible to work mid-day shifts Monday to Friday
