HSE Manager for Construction Safety

The HSE Manager ensures the effective execution of company-wide health and safety programs while supporting compliance and incident management. You will provide technical guidance to Construction Safety Officers and oversee the continuous improvement of the Safety Management System in Eastern Canada. Your hands-on approach and strong construction background will help to strengthen the safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance Safety Management System
• Provide oversight and support to Project Teams
• Lead investigations into incidents and compliance events
• Develop comprehensive safety training and onboarding
• Analyze safety metrics to drive improvements
Requirements:
• 7+ years HSE experience in construction or high-risk settings
• Occupational Health & Safety certificate required
• Completion of CSO or NCSO certification
• Strong understanding of Canadian OHS legislation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
