Vice President of Construction Strategy

Become the VP of the National Construction Practice at Navacord, driving strategy and enhancing insurance capabilities. Collaborate with local leaders to innovate in Construction and Surety.

In this role, you will collaborate with local Broker Partners to develop a robust Construction practice and drive strategic initiatives. Your focus will include building relationships with carriers, boosting sales support, and leading the Construction Committee. This position is perfect for a visionary leader who excels in a dynamic environment and values mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly construction community meetings across Canada

• Develop thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with Marketing

• Enhance construction practice through innovation and best practices

• Engage in business development with key clients

• Mentor Broker Partners in construction segments

Requirements:

• Relevant undergraduate degree required

• 10+ years of experience in Construction & Surety insurance

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Bilingual proficiency (English/French) is advantageous

• Professional designations like CAIB, CRM, or CIP are valued
