Position Summary
DiBRACON Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Site Superintendent will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to coordinate daily operations while maintaining a safe and productive job site.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all day-to-day site operations from project start-up through closeout.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying and resolving potential delays.
- Enforce company health and safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control reviews to maintain high construction standards.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities having jurisdiction.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and labour performance.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, deficiency logs, and safety records.
- Proactively identify and resolve construction issues to minimize project impacts.
- Foster positive working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and project scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and construction best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (experience with Procore is considered a strong asset).
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and the ability to travel to project sites.
