Your role will focus on delivering precise cost estimates and financial analyses for the Scarborough Subway Extension.
The Senior Estimator position calls for over 8 years of experience in Major Project Estimating in rail and large infrastructure. You will collaborate with various teams to create and update estimates, ensuring they align with project scope and execution strategies. Your responsibilities include analyzing costs, preparing variation estimates, and providing critical support during budget talks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on bottom-up estimates bi-annually
• Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specs
• Update estimates based on project changes
• Assist in procurement package evaluations
• Participate in budget discussions and alignments
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Construction
• 8+ years of relevant estimating experience
• Experience with large infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Hard Dollar software
• Thorough knowledge of construction contract terms
