Estimator and Project Manager for Heavy Civil

Join a reputable large civil contractor as a Project Manager/Estimator to oversee heavy civil infrastructure projects ranging from $500k to $20m. Manage complex tenders and all project aspects in this full-time role with Outpost Recruitment.

This position requires a Project Manager/Estimator with over five years of experience in heavy civil construction. You’ll analyze project requirements, secure subcontract bids, and prepare complete estimates using the Hard Dollar system. Building and maintaining client relationships while managing claims and change orders are crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project and estimate requirements for accurate planning

• Review scope, identify subcontractors, and evaluate tender packages

• Prepare detailed estimates for self-performed items

• Conduct risk analysis and present project execution plans

• Manage client and stakeholder relationships proactively

Requirements:

• 5+ years in heavy civil construction project management

• Experience with estimating, pre-qualifications, and negotiations

• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Projects skills

• P.Eng, EIT, or applicable technical diploma

• Valid Driver’s License for site visits
