Estimator Specializing in Prefabricated Systems

In this key role, you will enhance project acquisition through precise estimations derived from architectural and structural analyses. You collaborate closely with production and sales teams, ensuring clarity and accuracy in quotes while adhering to project specifications. Identifying risks and gaps in scope will be crucial to your success, ensuring that bids reflect operational capabilities and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze technical drawings and specifications

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for building envelope projects

• Conduct detailed labor and material take-offs accurately

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency

• Present project risks and scope clarifications to teams

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of estimating experience in prefabricated wall systems

• Knowledge of EIFS and Rainscreen construction methods

• Proficient in digital take-off systems and estimating software

• Familiarity with Ontario's construction codes and standards

• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
