Join Pomerleau Construction as an Intermediate Civil Estimator within the Pre-Construction team. Drive project success by leveraging your estimating skills on significant building initiatives.
Your role will focus on managing bids for large-scale projects ranging from $1.5 million to $1 billion. You will be instrumental in identifying prices for labor and materials while ensuring thorough interpretations of technical specifications. Establishing effective relationships with clients and partners will be paramount as you explore innovative project solutions and navigate the bidding process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage actively in the bid process cycle
• Define and analyze specific pricing for projects
• Interpret technical specifications with precision
• Execute detailed quantity take-offs for contracts
• Align client pricing requirements with project feasibility
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in relevant fields
• Valid experience in coordinating projects
• Proven ability in fostering industry relationships
• Solid understanding of the bid process and quantity take-offs
