Elevate your surveying career with ONxpress Civils! We're seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to lead fieldwork, utilizing advanced equipment and best practices.
This role requires a minimum of three years in geomatics surveying, focusing on construction stakeouts, layout, and control. You will be responsible for performing COGO calculations, leading field crews, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with total stations and GNSS/RTK systems while promoting a safe work environment in alignment with ONxpress’s commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform COGO calculations using data collectors in the field
• Lead construction stakeouts and gridline layouts
• Document field checks and maintain accurate notes
• Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate effectively
• Supervise and mentor survey crews for efficiency
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of construction or geomatics surveying experience
• Proficient with surveying equipment like GNSS/RTK systems
• Strong understanding of construction plans and site alignments
• Valid G class driver’s license with survey vehicle operating skills
