We are seeking a highly talented and meticulousVFX Paint/Beauty Retouch Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using

The Foundry's NUKE software to perform precise cosmetic enhancements and detailed clean-up on live-action footage.

This role requires an exceptional eye for minute details, a strong understanding of human anatomy and skin tone, and the ability to maintain a seamless, believable result while working efficiently under tight deadlines.

• Advanced Beauty Retouchand cosmetic clean-up, including removing blemishes, smoothing skin textures, enhancing eyes and teeth, and subtle facial reconstruction while preserving natural detail and motion.
• Paint and compositingto meticulously remove rigs, wires, markers, logos, and other unwanted on-set elements from footage.
• Plate Reconstruction(clean plating/paint-fixes) to fill in areas where elements have been removed, ensuring the background is consistent and clean.
• High-Detail Rotoscopingand creating accurate mattes for complex moving objects, especially close-up shots of actors.
• Collaborating with the VFX Supervisor and Compositing team to ensure the highest quality of work is delivered.

• Assisting with basic compositing tasks and shot finaling as needed.

• Developing and maintaining an understanding of new tools and techniques in the VFX and digital beauty industries.
• Providing feedback and suggestions for workflow improvements, particularly for efficient beauty work.
• Managing and organizing project files and assets in a logical and accessible manner.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Paint/Roto Artist on professional film or television projects, with a significant portfolio showcasing
  
  VFX Beauty Retouch work.
• Expertise inNuke(including Nuke's internal painting tools) and Mocha Pro.
• Exceptional skills in digitalskin and plate clean-up, demonstrating a deep understanding of maintainingtexture continuityandmotion tracking.
• A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating exceptional skills in rig removal, clean-up, and cosmetic fixes.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• A solid understanding of color space, plate geometry, and image formats.
