We are looking for a Senior Designer who is going to responsible for the motion design (motion graphics) of video content for paid media, web and social media across all channels and departments of the company at senior level.
This hybrid position will be based out of our head office in Toronto.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
Collaborating with videographers to impediment titles and animation over video, implement vfx within certain videos, and dynamic compositing techniques.Establish the conceptual and creative direction in collaboration with design staff, which include graphic designers, illustrators, motion graphics, photographers, and videographersCollaborate with and support Heads of Creative Design Department, ideation, production, and various tasksProvide insight and creative knowledge to all forms of content including web design, motion, video, digital and social media etc.Complete post-production content of all edits of videos required for partnership deliverablesProduce creative and original concepts with a clear design logic while executing fast-turnaround motion/video design requests as requiredOversee and manage video pos-production projects and provide support for day to day tasksCoordinate with post-production freelancers and agencies for ongoing projects.Transform footage and narrative scripts into creative visual storiesPerform multimedia functions such as record audio, audio & video duplicationWork in partnership with the wider creative team to lead, manage and support ongoing projects as required and assignedSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
Expertise in video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), motion graphics tools After Effects) and 3D software (Houdini, Maya)Proficiency with adobe suite programs- photoshop, illustrator, premiere pro.5+ years of experience in working with and designing motion graphics for video.Experience with compositing and general vfx work like paint-outs, set extensions and maskingCapability to produce high quality presentations, mock-ups, creative concepts and evaluate the reusability of existing photo/video assets.WHAT YOU’LL BE GAINING BY JOINING OUR TEAM
